I was surprised on my firs reread by the scouring of the shire, and it does not get much easier later on. I think Frodo is a paragon of compassion, considering his actions towards Saruman, I don't know if I could be able to act likewise, but it is something to look up to. I loved the weddings, especially Eowyn's and Faramir's, they deserve some happiness.
