Are you guys reading anything spooky for October? We are going to have really bad weather here today, and it's supposed to cool things down a bit. I'm hoping it will feel a bit like fall this month. I'm having to read all of the spooky things while it feels like summer out.
In case you missed it last week, I posted my review of Gone Girl.
I'm in the middle of a couple of anthologies: Widowmakers and Vampires Don't Sparkle. I'm also reading Kendare Blake's Girl of Nightmares.
I'm not sure what I have lined up next. I've been in a pretty weird reading mood lately.
I'd love to hear what you're reading this week. Be sure to let me know in the comments or leave me a link!

Hopefully you get some fall weather but without too bad of weather today. I have been struggling with reading scary books this month. The ones I pick up I just don't feel like reading. I guess I haven't found that one book yet that will work. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteArgh, the review schedule has been super packed. I've been trying to squeeze in some horror where I can, though. Stephen King's short "Gramma" made its way into my weekend plans - I'm dying to see the movie now!
ReplyDeleteI've got Girl of Nightmares on my TBR shelf. I really need to get to it!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Monday Post
Those look like scary reads! I don't have anything too scary right now, which is a bummer... was hoping I'd find something for October. I agree about weather, if I'm reading something scary I want nasty weather to go along with it! :)
ReplyDeleteI always try to read a few spooky things around this time of year as well. I read The Haunting of Hill House recently...eeeek! I'd really like to read Dracula if I can squeeze it in :D
ReplyDeleteI usually try to squeeze in some extra scary books in October but I didn't plan well this year. I'll have to visit the library after my company leaves and find a few titles. My eldest daughter read a book by Kendare Blake, enjoy that one.
