Currently Reading | December 12

Last week I posted my review of Where the Dead Go to Die by Aaron Dries and Mark Allan Gunnells.

Books Read Last Week

So I finally finished Last Train from Perdition. The length of time that took was ALL ME. It was a great read, and I can tell that series is going to get better and better with every. single. book.

Nest was my first Terry Goodkind (and also my last). I will post my review later this week.

Currently Reading

Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

I'm having a lot of trouble getting into Ethan Frome so that one may go back in the pile. I also spent some time making progress on Wolves of the Calla (not pictured) this weekend. I had insomnia so I killed two birds with one stone if you know what I mean.

What about you? What are you reading this week? Be sure to let me know in the comments or leave me a link!

This post is being shared as part of Book Date's It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

  1. Murder on the Orient Express is such a classic, it's weird I haven't read it. And Nest must have sucked if you're done with Goodkind?

    Have a good week.

  2. Insomnia stinks so hope it has passed. Sometimes a book that is hard to get into is better left to another time or ... not at all!!

  3. I frequently throw books back on the pile if they aren't engaging me. One day I'll have to donate books that have been thrown back more than once. Maybe, when I'm packing to move this spring. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  4. I loved Murder on the Orient Express! Maybe it's time for another Christie book for me... :)

    Have a great week!

  5. I just finished reading Murder on the Orient Express and thought it was a great read; but then most of Christie's novels are. :)

  6. Glad to see you liked Last Train from Perdition. I have always wanted to read an Agatha Christie book but have never gotten around to it.

  7. Ethan Frome was the first Wharton I read... it was a bit of a difficult to get into read and it has a strangely unexpected ending. I need to check out more Wharton. :) And ahh! Murder on the Orient! I have yet to read that Christie but I've heard it's a fantastic one!
