Recent Updates and Currently Reading | April 26

At this point we are spending the majority of our time outdoors working in the yard, reading, playing frisbee... whatever we can to be out of the house. My project for this weekend was finally getting some grapefruits trees into the yard. My dad gave them to me as seedlings he had started from seed, and I've been growing them in containers for a couple of years.

The weather has been beautiful, but we've had a couple of storms roll through. These pictures are from yesterday when the sky was amazing to see. Looks like Stranger Things.

  2. Great Photos. I think I'd prefer lemons or avocados! But I do like grapefruit. I want to read Book of Koli and the Southern Book Club, someday

    1. Thank you! Yes, I would prefer lemons, too! :) I plan to plant another tree in that row and then stagger a second row. No more grapefruit! But my dad gave me those so I wanted to take care of all three of them.

  6. I want to read Rules of Vanishing and Southern Book Club! They both look great. I've been trying to get outside as much as I can too - it was a pretty rainy/cold weekend though, so that's a bummer. I'm hoping today will be better!

  7. Cool cloud pictures. I'm afraid grapefruit wouldn't do well in northern Minnesota but I have been thinking of planting a couple of apple trees. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  8. I must get outside and work on weeding out my flower beds soon before they take over.

I have such a low tolerance for scary books. ha. The only Stephen King book I've ever read is his book on writing. But it was excellent. Thanks for sharing your stack!

  9. Those trees look great and all the better because they were started from seed, makes them doubly interesting. Happy reading.
