  4. PROJECT HAIL MARY is a popular choice today! Sci-fi isn't my genre, but my husband really liked the book as well.

  14. Project Hail Mary made my list of favorites this year too. Such a great book! I'm also excited to see that Feral Creatures made your list. I loved Hollow Kingdom and can't wait to continue that series.

  16. I somehow parsed the blackout poetry book's title as "a complex accident corpse of life" and before I got to the subtitle, my poor brain was VERY bewildered by the bizarre imagery and confusion about what that could possibly mean until I realized I'd filled in an extra word.

    That book sounds like an absolutely fascinating exercise, though.
