August 2017 New Horror Releases | Horror Spotlight

It's time to spotlight all of the horror releasing in August! There is no doubt about it - horror is on the rise again, and I could not be a happier reader.

Benjamin Percy and Ania Ahlborn have new releases this month. I'm dying to know more about Zhou HaoHui's Valley of Terror. I'm also super curious about The Grip of It. I always gravitate toward haunted house stories. Let me know if you've had a look at any of these!

I'm looking forward to reading the new Kristi DeMeester this month, as well.

  1. OMG so I really don't know where to start with this list. I definitely want to grab a copy of Video Nasties (because I love my anthologies in physical form). I need Gravel Switch in my life now as well as book 1 and 2 in the Ghost Chronicle series. Also, yes, I have to read a book where Dracula is President. As scary as the political scene is right now, that may be the direction we need to go...just kidding - maybe!

    1. You are welcome! For whatever reason, horror can be a well hidden genre. I'm happy to put a spotlight on it.
