  1. Someone told me about Boy's Life long ago, and, even though it wasn't my usual sort of read, I found a copy and read it...and...wow...amazing.

  4. Just when I thought I would not have read any of the books featured this week, you pulled in two from my youth. Charlotte's Web crushed my soul and left me a puddle, but it is a beautiful story of friendship.

  5. Rebecca has been on my radar for years. My mother has encouraged me to read it forever but I've never made it a priority. Bad daughter. lol

    1. I didn't read Charlotte's Web until I was an adult. I was shocked at how beautiful it was.

  7. I have never read Princess Bride, which seems so weird to me since I loved the movie! And oh I hate spiders so much but I loved Charlotte's web as a kid lol.

    1. If you loved the movie, you NEED to read the book!! I think it will be surprised. It's absolutely wonderful. You know - book spiders must not count. lol

  8. Oh, you have some wonderful picks here! Charlotte's Web, The Lord of the Rings (that one made my list), The Princess Bride, And Then There Were None, Rebecca... honestly, your first three and the last book are the only ones I haven't read.

I focused on books that are older than I am for my list today.

    1. If you can only read one more book in your life - make it Boy's Life.

  10. I almost put Rebecca on my list. I do have And Then There Were None on it, though. I really enjoyed reading Charlotte's Web, BUT I have a terrible fear of spiders and I had to cover Charlotte's picture the whole time and the ending with the flying baby spiders gave me nightmares. LOL.

    1. Haha! Yeah - you can't think about Charlotte and her babies as real spiders. :)

  11. Great list! I've read half of these books. My favorite of them is probably THE PRINCESS BRIDE. It's such a good book and movie. Classic!

    Happy TTT!

  12. Oh - I used to read Siddons....not sure why I dropped her. Too many other things kept slipping in front I guess. Enjoyed Princess Bride, but it didn't make my list. :)

    1. I think The House Next Door is the only book by Siddons that I've read. I'd love to see what her other stuff is like, though.

  13. I loved Charlotte's Web as a kid! I missed it out of my list this week as I had to narrow down somewhere but it was one of my favourite books back then.
