October 2016 New Horror Releases | Horror Spotlight

Horror Spotlight is a feature highlighting the newest in horror fiction. If you would like to connect with me or contribute to my Horror Spotlight posts, please feel free to drop me a comment or send me an email at bookdenblog(at)gmail(dot)com.

It must be October because this list of horror books is HUGE! They sounds so fantastic, too. Each book cover is linked to the appropriate page on Goodreads if you want to take a closer look at any of the books. If I've missed any, let me know. I'd be happy to add them!

  1. What a wonderful bunch of books (coming from one horror lover to another). I have ARC's of several of these and just started reading The Graveyard Apartment Wed. I am only on chapter 4 (have another review book I need to finish first) but it has already sucked me in. I added quite a few of these to my wishlist so thanks. I also just grabbed Dracula v. Hitler from Netgalley this week after featuring it on a Waiting on Wednesday feature last month. I LOVE October reads, but some may have to spill over to November!

  2. This year October is a huge month for horror and dark fantasy reads - I already have The Apartment, Stranded, The Rains, The Graveyard Apartment, The Hidden People, Certain Dark Things and Dracula vs. Hitler on my reading list. The question is, what to tackle first?!

  3. Feedback- I've been going back and forth on whether to read this series. I read a Mira Grant novella the other week and liked it a lot. And both Nightmare and City of Weird (love THAT cover) have me curious...

  4. Awesome list! I literally have about six or seven of these books to read this month for review, and I'm pretty excited. I need an extra week in October to finish everything!
